Enclosure in Addane — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Situated on the fairly steep NE-facing slope of a hill on a natural spur in pastureland. Marked as a roughly circular enclosure on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map with a field boundary skirting the S half of the site. Not indicated on the 1904 ed., however, according to the landowner the site was only completely levelled in the last twelve years (c. 1984). The field has been reclaimed and new ditches have been cut. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
