Just off the crest of a broad E-W ridge, on the gentle N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 26.6m E-W; 24.8m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.5-4.7m; int. H 0.8-1.4m; ext. H 1.2m) and an outer fosse (at S: Wth of top 4.5m; Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.9m), which has been re-cut as a drain (Wth of base 1m; D 1m) SW-N-SE. There is an entrance (Wth 1.6m) and causeway at SE, but the interior has been almost completely removed (D 0.3-0.8m). Rath (RO023-057----) is c. 100m to the S and rath (RO023-058----) is c. 130m to the E.
