Embanked enclousre is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lisfarrellboy, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a D-shaped grass-covered area on the SW-facing slope of a low E-W ridge, defined by an overgrown earthen bank and an outer fosse to the N-NE. A 3.5m-wide entrance opens at the SSE, while another rath attaches to the NW and two further enclosures sit 70m NE and 130m ESE.
On the SW-facing slope of a low E-W ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 32m NE-SW; 25.2m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.8-6m; int. H 0.3m at SW to 1m at NE; ext. H 0.6 generally to 1.2m at SW), with an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; D 0.5m) N-NE. The entrance (Wth 3.5m) is at SSE. Rath (RO007-025001-) is attached to the NW, enclosure (RO007-026----) is c. 70m to the NE, and rath (RO007-028----) is c. 130m to the ESE.
