Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Tonroe OR Feenagh, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area sits on a slight north-facing slope and measures about 26m east-west and 25.5m north-south. An overgrown earthen bank and scarp surround the centre, separated by a fosse from a complete outer bank incorporated into a field bank. No visible entrance remains.
On a slight N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 26m E-W; 25.5m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.7-5m; int. H 0.2m generally to 1.2m at S; ext. H 1.6m generally to 2m at S) E-S-NW and a scarp (H 1.7m at N) elsewhere, separated by a fosse (Wth of base 3.8m at N to 6m at S; D 0.2m at N to 1.45m at S) from a complete outer overgrown bank (Wth 3-3.7m; ext.
