On a gentle NE-facing slope of a low WNW-ESE ridge, c. 1.5 km W of the River Suck. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 89m E-W; 79m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 6.1-8.5m; int. H 0.5-0.6m; ext. H 0.65-1.8m) which is absent WNW-NNW, separated by a rounded, overgrown fosse (Wth of top 9.2-12.4m; Wth of base 2-4.6m; D 0.5-1.65m) from an outer bank (Wth 11.6m; H 0.5m) NE-S which is incorporated into a field bank NW-NE, and S-SW but is absent elsewhere. The entrance (Wth 4m) and causeway (Wth 7m) are at SSW (max. ext. dims 115m E-W; 100m N-S).
