On the crest of the summit of a NE-SW ridge, towards its SW end. Circular area planted with coniferous trees (diam. c. 25m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. H 0.7m) and outer fosse (Wth. of base 4m; D 0.2m) NE-E-SW, which cannot be traced elsewhere. A rectangular house site (RO010-021002-) (int. dims c. 5m ESE-WNW; c. 4m NNE-SSW) was noted E of the centre in 1980 (SMR file), but it is no longer visible at ground level.
