What is recorded here

Marked as a rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims. c. 50m N-S; c. 40m E-W) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle SE-facing slope with the headwaters of a small W-E stream c. 60m to the E. It is not regarded locally as an antiquity, and is not visible at ground level in pasture. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
