What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45-50m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and located towards the top of the E-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge in a field known as the Rath field. Nothing is visible at ground level in a cereal crop, but an amorphous cropmark enclosure (diam. c. 35m) is visible on digital aerial photographs (WX024-050_1, _2) from 2006.
