Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lugboy (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle southeast-facing slope where an earthen bank surrounds a grass-covered area, while an outer fosse cuts through the western, northern and southern edges. A nearby rath lies two hundred metres to the west-southwest.
On a gentle SE-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 27.7m NW-SE; 23.3m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank with some scrub (Wth 3.4-4.5m; int. H 0.1-0.4m; ext. H 0.4-1.1m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m) at NE, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5m; Wth of base 1.8-2.2m; D 0.2-0.4m) W-N-S. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO023-009----) is c. 200m to the WSW.
