Marked as a large D-shaped embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 110m E-W; c. 90m N-S) truncated by a WNW-ESE field bank at SW on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the W end of a low E-W drumlin ridge. An arc (C c. 80m) of earthen bank and hedge (Wth 4m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.7m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 4m; Wth of base 2.1m; D 0.9m) survives WSW-N.
