On a gentle SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 52.4m NW-SE; 49.5m NE-SW) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 6-8.5m; Wth of top 1.2-1.6m; int. H 1-1.8m; ext. H 2-3.2m) and an overgrown rounded fosse (Wth of top 4m at NE to 8m at NW; Wth of base 1.3-2.5m; D 0.6-1.2m). The entrance (Wth 4m) and causeway are at SW and the outer edge of the fosse is truncated by a field wall at W (max. ext. diam. 59m NW-SE). Man-made underground passage (RO044-065003-) is SW of the centre.
