Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lisnanuran, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a low rise with a circular grass-covered area measuring 39 metres north-south and 37.5 metres east-west. An earthen bank and scarp define the boundary, while an outer fosse appears along the southwest and west. No visible entrance remains.
On top of a low rise. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 39m N-S; 37.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.75-5.9m; int. H 0.25m at S to 0.9m at W; ext. H 0.65m at NE to 0.9m at W) S-WNW and NE-ENE, and a scarp (H 0.45-0.6m) elsewhere. There is an outer fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.1-0.45m) SW-W, but there is no visible entrance.
