Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lismaha, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears only on the 1837 Ordnance Survey map as a circular embanked enclosure about 55 metres across on a gentle south-west-facing slope. The earthworks are no longer visible at ground level in the pasture, while two other raths stand 190 metres north-northwest and 70 metres south.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 55m) only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle SW-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. Rath (RO044-006----) is c. 190m to the NNW and rath (RO044-008----) is c. 70m to the S. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
