Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lackan (roscommon By., Kilgefin Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a subcircular grass-covered area on a gentle SW-facing slope of Slive Bawn, measuring 58m north-south and 52m east-west. An overgrown earthen bank defines the boundary, with an outer field drain and a modernised entrance at the northwest. Two other raths lie within 220m to the NNW and 180m to the SW.
On a gentle SW-facing slope of Slive Bawn. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 58m N-S; 52m E-W), which is used as a paddock, defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at S: Wth c. 2.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.9m) which has been augmented with spoil at N (Wth of base 6.8m; Wth of top 3m; int. H 1.9m; ext. H 1.8m), and an outer field drain (Wth of base 1.6m; D 1.4m). There is a modernised entrance (Wth 3.5m) at NW. Rath (RO029-128----) is c. 220m to the NNW and rath (RO029-130----) is c. 180m to the SW.
