What is recorded here
On top of the SW summit of a NE-SW ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 80m E-W; 73m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 7m at W to 11.3m at E; int. H 0.6m at W to 1.75m at E; ext. H 1.25-1.75m). There is no visible entrance and there is no surface evidence of the internal fosse and central platform recorded by Knox (1914b, 348). The large bowl-barrow (RO006-118002-) is outside the perimeter at E, and the perimeter of the enclose is straightened on this side. Bowl-barrow (RO010-001----) is c. 380m to the SW, and the henge (RO006-118007-) is c. 300m to the E. (Stout 1991, 283, west; Condit 1993)
