Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilnafrehan East, County Waterford, Ireland. The 38-metre circular grass-covered area sits on a north-west to south-east ridge and is defined by a 4.5 to 5-metre wide earth and stone bank. The bank reaches 0.5 to 1.2 metres internally and 1 to 1.7 metres externally, with north-west to south-east internal and north-west to north-east external stone-facing. A 2.5-metre entrance at the south-east might not be original, no visible fosse is present, and a rath is immediately adjacent to the north-east.

Located on top of a NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38m) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4.5-5m; int. H 0.5-1.2m; ext. H 1-1.7m) with internal (NW-SE) and external (NW-NE) stone-facing. An entrance (Wth 2.5m) at SE might not be original, and there is no visible fosse. A rath (WA031-010----) is immedately adjacent to the NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
