Situated on the E-facing slope of the NW-SE Ballymacart river valley, with the stream c. 100m to the E. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 24.3m N-S; 23.9m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank best preserved downslope at E (Wth 2.5-3m; int. H 0.5m; max. ext. H 2m). The bank does not survive SSW-WNW where there is a scarp (H 0.5m) down to the interior. There is no visible fosse or entrance.
