Marked as rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims. c. 65m E-W; c. 60m N-S) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a low N-S ridge. It is not visible at ground level in pasture but it can be seen faintly as a vegetation mark on an OSI series of aerial photographs (2000). (Barry 1977, 219, WX 48)
