Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cootehall, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a D-shaped grass-covered shelf on the south-facing slope of a rise, bounded partly by an earthen bank and partly by a scarp. An outer fosse runs along the west, north and northeast edges, while a five-to-five-point-five-metre-wide entrance opens at the east. Rath RO007-020 sits about sixty metres to the northeast.

On a shelf on the S-facing slope of a rise. D-shaped or subrectangular grass-covered area (dims 38 NNW-SSE; 27m WSW-ENE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-4.6m; int. H 0.25m generally to 0.75m at SSE; ext. H 0.3m at NNW to 1.1m at SSE) WNW-N-S and a scarp (H 0.6m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 5-5.5m; D 0.2- 0.6m) WNW-NNE.
