On a gentle E-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 55.9m N-S; 44.3m E-W) defined by a flat-topped, overgrown earthen bank (Wth of top 2.1-3.4m; Wth of base 3.3-6.8m; int. H 0.3-1.1m; ext. H 1.4-1.5m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.2m) ENE-ESE, and an outer rounded fosse (Wth of top 6-6.5m; Wth of base 3.2-5m; D 0.2m N-E to 0.8m S-W). There is no identifiable original entrance, and an overgrown field bank circumscribes the outer edge of the fosse NNE-E-SSW (max. ext. dims 72.4m N-S; 57.7m E-W). Rath (RO029-060----) is c. 180m to the SSW.
