Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowreagh (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a level landscape as a circular grass-covered area thirty-five point eight metres north-south and thirty-four metres east-west. An earthen bank, hedge, scarp and outer fosse define its edge, while a band of rushes marks the fosse elsewhere. No visible entrance breaks the ring.
On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35.8m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 3.4-4.2m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 0.95m) SSW-W, WNW-NNW and at E, and elsewhere by a scarp (H 0.8m), with an outer fosse (at N: Wth of base 2m; D 0.2-095m) WSW-N-ESE, represented by a band of rushes (Wth 2m) elsewhere. There is no visible entrance.
