Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrownamorheeny, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies an oval grass-covered area at the crest of a gentle NE-facing slope, measuring 27m east-west and 21.5m north-south. A scarp rises 0.5-0.8m on the NE-S side and 1.7m on the S-W-NE side, forming part of a flat-topped field bank with a 3m base, 1.5m top, 0.6m internal height and 1.5m external height. A pond lies outside the bank SSW-NW, while an outer re-cut fosse stretches NW-NE with a 10m top, 2m base and 1.7m external depth.

Oval grass-covered area (dims 27m E-W; 21.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-0.8m NE-S to 1.7m S-W-NE), which is incorporated into a flat-topped field bank (Wth of base c. 3m; Wth of top 1.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.5m) with a pond outside it SSW-NW, and an outer re-cut fosse (Wth of top 10m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 1.7m) NW-NE. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO016-121----) is c. 170m to the S.
