On a slight E-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 51.9m N-S; 49m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.3-5.4m; int. H 0.25-0.3m; ext. H 1.5-1.8m), with a rounded fosse (Wth of top 8.7m; Wth of base 3.2m; D 0.5m) and counterscarp bank (Wth 2.6m; ext. H 0.35m) NNW-SE. The outer edge of the fosse has been removed by an E-W field wall at S and a N-S field wall at W. The entrance (Wth 2.5m) and causeway (Wth 3.2m) are at S, and a hollow (dims 8m E-W; 2.5m N-S; D 0.4m) inside the perimeter at W may be a Man-made underground passage (RO028-212002-).
