What is recorded here
Towards the top of the gentle SW-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge, towards the NW end. Irregularly subcircular grass and reed-covered area (dims 57.5m N-S; 50m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.3m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) separated by a berm (Wth 1.4m) from a fosse (Wth of top 3.8m; Wth of base 2.2m; D 0.35m) W-NNE. The perimeter has been quarried NNE-SSE and reduced to a scarp (H 0.6-0.7m) S-W. There is no identifiable original entrance but there is a slight outer bank (Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.2m) N-NNE.
