What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 30m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a circular field (diam. c. 40m) on the 1922 ed. Situated on a W-facing slope. A semicircular arc (diam. c. 30m) of a bank, with internal and external stone-revetting, survives E-S-W where it has been incorporated in a field bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
