On a gentle N-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 46.4m E-W; 42m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6-5.3m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.65-1m) S-W-NNE, but reduced to a scarp (H 0.2m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
