What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 41.5m N-S; 40.3m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 6.7m; int. H 0.7-1.2m; ext. H 1.5-2m) S-N-E and a scarp E-S (H 1.3m) elsewhere, with an external fosse (Wth of top 3.5-5.2m; D 0.3-0.6m) S-W. The entrance (Wth 4m) is at NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
