Ecclesiastical enclosure in Nohaval Daly, County Cork: an oval shadow in undulating pasture, still marked by a low rise and a northern ringfort remembered as a burial ground and church site. Bowman recorded a levelled double-ramparted fort on T. O'Brien's land, with a shallow southern depression, while local names preserve the older religious use. The field may have held worship, mourning and everyday pasture at once, its boundaries softened but never fully erased.

In undulating pasture. Roughly oval enclosure (c. 80m NW-SE; c. 60m NE-SW) visible in aerial photograph (Dr D.D.C. Pochin Mould) as shadow site. Enclosing element evident in parts as low rise (max. H 0.95m). Locally known as 'cillín'. Ringfort (12810) at N end, known locally as burial ground and church site (14155,14524) (Bowman 1934, 666). Recorded by Bowman (ibid.) as levelled double-ramparted fort (diam. c. 65yd) on T. O'Brien's land, with site c. 3ft higher than surrounding field level and depression (c. 8yd by 6yd; D c. 2ft) 'on the S of site' (ibid.).
