Within ringfort (12810) and in N half of early ecclesiastical enclosure (13890). Bowman (1934, 666) recorded burial ground where local 'residents remember rude headstones'. No visible surface trace. According to local information, depression outside SE side of early ecclesiastical enclosure is mass grave from famine times. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
