The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Arc of bank (SE-SW-NW) marked on 1839 'OS 6-inch' map (max. diam. c. 30m). Small kink in field boundary shown on 1908 ed. Visible from downslope as slight level platform in NE slope. Possibly a ringfort.
