Earthwork in Boola (bourney Par.)

Situated in shallow dip in undulating terrain. Indicated as a sub-circular-shaped platform-type earthwork on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map but as two adjacent quarries on the 1901-5 ed. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
