Earthwork in Bellgrove

Situated on demesne land on the SW-facing slope of a low hill in undulating countryside, 213m SE of Bellgrove House. Depicted as a circular platform-type earthwork the interior of which was planted with trees on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map, not indicated on subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps. May have been a tree-ring associated with the landscaping undertaken by the opccupants of Bellgrove House. Not visible at ground level.
