What is recorded here

A long cist similar to that at Lederg (314) was said to have been found near here. It contained 'cremated bone and three white stones about the size of a fist' (local information). The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
