Detached double-pile five-bay two-storey house, built c.1660. Pitched slate roofs with gable chimneys having diagonally placed ashlar limestone stacks. Recent porch addition to front door. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Timber panelled and glazed door. Oval-plan walled garden to west.

A long, low house with a long history that sits comfortably in its setting. The diagonally placed chimneystacks are an immediately eye-catching feature and are indicative of an early date. The associated walled garden adds to its seeting and context and is an indicator of the scale of the estate in the past.
