Kilbeg holds a cupmarked boulder above a radial cairn, though local memory claims people dumped it there during early 1980s clearance. Its five shallow cups and groove still face the sky on the northern hill terrace. That sudden displacement turns an old marker into a wandering thing, carrying its marks from one Cork field to another like a displaced chest of secrets.

In pasture on level terrace of N slope of low hill. Boulder (1.2m x 1.05m; T 0.4m) has five shallow cup-marks and groove on upper surface. According to local information, stone removed in early 1980s from surrounding field and dumped atop radial-stone cairn (CO143-002003-).
