What is recorded here

Detached five-bay two-storey public house, c.1840. Southern bay a later extension. Smooth rendered walls with parallel quoins. Irregularly spaced timber casement windows. Pair of lean-to porches with timber casement windows. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimney stacks. Extensions to rere.
A modest two-storey public house, retaining some original fabric, the simple proportions of which subtly enhance this busy country road amid more recent development.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
