Cliff

What is recorded here

Dinas Mot (Plexus Buttress) is a sea cliff composed primarily of volcanic and sedimentary rocks from the Ordovician period, approximately 470 to 440 million years old. It is notable for its association with the Dinas Mot volcanic complex and the presence of the Dinas Mot Granite, which intruded into the surrounding rocks, making it a key site for understanding the geological history of north Wales.
