Dinas Cromlech is a sea cliff composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and mudstone, formed around 440–420 million years ago through deep marine sedimentation and subsequent tectonic uplift. It is notable for its association with the ancient hill fort of Dinas Cromlech, which overlooks the cliff, and for its exposure of early Paleozoic rock formations along the north Wales coast.
