Glyder Fawr rises to approximately 959 metres and is part of the Glyderau range in the Carneddau mountain system, composed mainly of volcanic rhyolite and andesite. It is a prominent landmark in the Snowdonia National Park and a popular destination for hikers due to its dramatic ridgelines and scenic views.
