Not marked on 1842 and 1905 OS 6-inch maps. Marked on 1937 OS 6-inch map just to W of site of Shanbally fort (13720) and to E of levelled earthwork (13826). In tillage, on top of ridge. Stone (H 1.25m; 0.45m x 0.75m) is rectangular in plan and section, long axis NE-SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
