What is recorded here
Bowman (1934, 419) recorded church site in centre of circular enclosure (13562); 'a large mound, irregularly shaped, covering a space about 25 yards by 10 yards, and about 8ft high...legend says that horses drawing a hearse used refuse to go past the site.' No visible surface trace of church.
