Remains of two walled gardens, built c.1780.
These two former walled gardens are reminders of the horticultural tradition once associated with country houses in Ireland. These walled gardens would have provided a wide variety of produce for the main house. Their survival, in conjunction with the main house and other related buildings provides continuity and context to living conditions in Ireland.
