Within a children’s burial ground (GA005-035007-) immediately to the N of a church (GA005-035002-). This roughly worked and undecorated tau cross (H 0.67m; Wth 0.49m; T 0.09m) was recorded by Higgins (1987, ii, 396, no. 116). It is set upright and appears to have been reused as a grave-marker. A cross-slab (GA005-035005-) has also been reused as a grave-marker. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
