Cross-slab in Coumduff

KE044-019---- occupies an area of open ground in the centre of the village of Knockane, about three-quarters of a mile S of Lough Anscaul. Cross-slab (KE044-019004-): A slab measuring 1.1 x .94m is inscribed on one face with a cross of arcs, pendant from the lower arm of which is a plain stem. A loop at the right side of the upper arm represents a monogram form of the Chi-Rho symbol. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.
