What is recorded here
Kilnamar Lough in County Leitrim holds one known crannog, though a second name keeps surfacing in local thought. The water is deep enough to swallow doubt, and the lough keeps its own count. What looks like a new place may be the same wooden island seen from another bank, remembered twice.
There is a reference to a possible second crannog in Kilnamar Lough (NMI file), but this is probably a reference to the known crannog (LE030-017----).
