What is recorded here
Single-arch coursed cut stone bridge, built c.1815, with segmental-headed arch with tooled stone dressings and projecting piers.
This is a well-constructed cut stone bridge in Killegar Demesne with tooled stone dressings. An interesting feature of the bridge is how various elements of the structure are articulated separately by treatment of the stonework. For example the pier, spandrel and arch are definable elements in this bridge. The bridge forms part of a group with the related demesne structures of Killegar House.
