Country house in Mountshannon had a neo-Classical makeover and ended up a ruin. That's taking the Greek look a bit far. Most people stop before the missing roof.
Described by Bence-Jones (1978, 2160 as 'a 2 story C18 house ... remodelled in neo-Classical style post 1813 ... now a ruin.' The house was placed in the Register of Historic Monuments in 1976.
