What is recorded here
In rough hill pasture, on the upper W-facing upper slopes of Coad Mountain. The 19th-century mine workings consist of two shallow gullies from which quartz rock was extracted. Nearby are three mounds of mainly quartz stones bearing the green stains of copper ore, the largest of which is c. 12m x 6m x 1.5m H.
