Squared limestone abutment of former road bridge, c.1765, with remains of one arch having ashlar voussoirs and springing course. Surmounted by plain steel railings.
This fragment of the former principal bridge over the Liffey is a valuable reminder of this now obsolete route. Also adds much character to the waterway and weir complex.
