What is recorded here

Detached five-bay two-storey over basement country house, built c.1780. The country house is finished in render. To the south side there are later two storey 19th century additions; these are recessed to the front east elevation but flush with the rear west elevation creating a seven-bay façade. The single-storey breakfront porch has a pedimented portico with Tuscan order pilasters. The panelled front door has a decorative fanlight and is flanked by sidelights. Window openings are also flat-headed with six over six and nine over six timber sash frames. The pitched roof is finished in natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods and rendered chimneystacks. The country house is set within a well wooded demesne.
This well preserved country house shows little to no loss of detail or character.
